I'm not sure where there is anything quite as adorable as a baby vegetable... and this eggplant is TINY. (See the light purple eggplant flower hovering at the top of the photo for comparison.)
These are the delicious, never bitter, super easy to grow 'Ichiban' japanese eggplants, by the way. I fell in love with them maybe 5 years ago, and I don't foresee a time when I will want to trade them for another type. They're simply perfect.

I love eggplant flowers~But, this baby is too cute.
I wish I liked eggplant, the plants are gorgeous!
I get the TomatoBerry plants from the garden centers I manage, but the seed is readily available. I cannot recommend them enough, Kim!!
Yum, I wonder what a bowl full of them rolled in olive oil and lightly sauteed with garlic would taste like. Cute little rascal.
Yum! and true...the plants and flowers are lovely!
Hello
I have a few of these in my backyard. Your presence at my blog always makes me smile and more so when I have been absent over here. Have a great day!
