Just Three Days Left to Nominate Your Favorites...

... for the 1st annual Mouse & Trowel Awards!

Begun by Colleen over at In the Garden Online, the aim of the M&Ts is to give some recognition to great garden blogs. If you can't think of three blogs to nominate in each category, just nominate the one or two who come to mind. If you (like me) have never actually listened to a gardening podcast, then skip that category entirely. (Like most gardeners, these awards are serious but go with the flow a little, too.)

However you nominate, just nominate... and even if you don't get a chance to make some nominations, check back next week to vote for the finalists. It's a great chance to recognize some of your favorite garden blogs, and bring them to the attention of others, too!

I was relieved to read that I wasn't the only one who hadn't listened to a garden podcast. I just skipped that category ... it was hard to decide who to pick for the other categories - there are many amazing garden blogs out there. including yours!

You will have my vote for sure. I am going to link to this tomorrow. Thanks for posting it.

I have an Ipod and I have been listening to it at work. I just haven't been brave enough to download a podcast yet. I am still trying to listen to the 4,000+ songs I have in there now.

Aww... thanks for the kind words, Anon, Kate, and Digital Flower Pictures. And I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only person who hasn't ever listened to a garden podcast! :)

Just to be clear, this post is not in any way meant to be a solicitation of votes. I just think that having our own awards is way cool--thanks, Colleen!--and I wanted to make sure that those who hadn't heard about it before get in on the fun before it's too late. (And I'm looking forward to learning more about new-to-me blogs, too!)

There. I wrote it.

One of my favorite things about blogging is the interaction--posts are often simply the beginning of an interesting conversation! So thanks for taking the time to join the discussion, and please know that I enjoy reading each and every comment left here. I try to answer as many as I can.
